Silver

The Silver rabbit breed is a medium-sized rabbit breed that originated in England in the early 1900s. It was created by breeding a Silver Fox rabbit with a Champagne d'Argent rabbit, resulting in a breed with a silver-grey coat and distinctive markings.

Silver rabbits have a muscular and compact body type, with a broad head and upright ears that are proportionate to their body. They typically weigh between 6 and 9 pounds (2.7 to 4.1 kg) and have a lifespan of 5 to 8 years.

One of the most distinctive features of the Silver rabbit breed is their fur, which is dense and soft. The fur has a dark slate blue undercoat, with longer silver guard hairs that give the rabbit its silver appearance. The markings on the Silver rabbit's fur are also notable, with a distinct black line running down their spine and black ticking on their ears and tail.

In addition to their attractive appearance, Silver rabbits are known for their docile and friendly temperament. They are good pets for families with children and can also be trained for show competitions. Silver rabbits are recognized by the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) and are bred in various countries around the world.
