Giant Angora

The Giant Angora is a domestic rabbit breed that originated in the United States in the early 20th century. As the name suggests, this breed is known for its large size and long, woolly fur.

Giant Angoras can weigh up to 12 pounds and have a long, muscular body shape. Their wool is soft and dense, and can grow up to 5 inches long if not trimmed regularly. This breed comes in a variety of colors including white, black, and blue.

Giant Angoras require regular grooming to keep their wool free from matting and tangling. They are known for their gentle and docile personalities, and make good pets for experienced rabbit owners who have the time and patience to provide them with proper care.

In addition to being kept as pets, Giant Angoras are also bred for their wool, which can be spun into yarn and used for knitting and other fiber arts. Because of their large size and high wool production, they are popular among fiber artists and small-scale farmers who are interested in sustainable fiber production.
